This documentary looks promising. Having been born in Oklahoma and a long time resident, I remember this event very well.

Interesting note is the status of the film on the torrent sites. Specifically, the director has asked for the film not to be on torrent till after April 2012, due to getting some funds for the film. This indicates a willingness to get the information out, via torrent, but asking for reimbursements on producing/creating the film.
